Charity is not about loud promises but concrete actions. However, even the most meaningful initiatives remain invisible if no one learns about them. Today, NGOs face a pressing challenge — a lack of visibility: public attention is increasingly drawn to flashy commercial projects rather than social initiatives. That is why organizations need modern tools that help them stand out and speak to people on equal terms.

Non-profit organizations save lives, develop educational and environmental initiatives, and help people unite. But without a modern website, their work remains unnoticed in the information flow. The absence of an online platform is not just an image issue, but a real loss of support, partners, and resources. For NGOs, a website becomes a key survival tool and a way to continue their mission.

Why the “Dobrosite 2025” contest is needed

The “Laboratory of Good” Foundation launched the “Dobrosite 2025” contest to support 12 non-profit organizations and provide them with modern digital platforms. These websites will become tools for attracting supporters, donors, and partners, helping NGOs systematically present their projects and showcase results.

At DaT Studio, we are responsible for developing all the websites. Our mission is to create solutions tailored to the specifics of each organization: thoughtful structure, user-friendly interface, adaptive design, and readiness for promotion. This ensures that NGOs go beyond simple online presence to effectively engage with society and amplify their impact.

When technology serves good

Our collaboration with the “Laboratory of Good” Foundation began with the development of its official website. The first encounter happened in the professional environment of Workspace, where the foundation’s team noticed our expertise in social and corporate projects.

Our task was not just to create an informational page but a fully functional tool for their work. We designed and implemented a website that brought together key elements: the foundation’s mission and team, project descriptions, expert articles, a partner section, and transparency reports. An important feature was the interactive “Have an idea?” form, which attracted supporters and helped discover new talented contributors.

Thanks to modern design and intuitive navigation, the “Laboratory of Good” website turned into a platform that helps the organization grow, find new partners, and launch important social projects. For the foundation, it was a turning point; for us, it marked the start of a trusted relationship that led to the next milestone: the joint project of the “Dobrosite 2025” contest.

Application submission and processing

The first stage was the submission of applications, which ran from May 12 to June 30, 2025. Each organization was invited to review the contest documentation, obtain approval from its head, complete the application form, and attach a PDF package of documents.

Although the procedure largely resembled a standard one, its key advantage was simplicity: some forms were automatically structured, and detailed instructions significantly reduced the preparation time. This approach lowered bureaucratic burdens — especially relevant for NGOs with limited resources.

AI-assisted evaluation of applications

The next stage — evaluation — took place from July 1 to July 10, 2025. Here, the foundation applied innovation for the first time: artificial intelligence was “added” to the team. The neural network analyzed applications across multiple criteria — from completeness and accuracy of documents to the relevance and social importance of projects. Essentially, AI acted as a virtual grant expert: it gathered diverse data about organizations, compared them, and generated a preliminary ranking. To ensure objectivity, the final list of winners was reviewed by fundraising expert Lyubov Efimova, combining algorithmic findings with human expertise.

This approach dramatically reduced time. If experts had manually processed all 61 applications, it would have taken around 915 minutes (15 minutes per application). The neural network completed the task in 270 minutes while maintaining quality. This became a vivid example of how technology truly saves resources and simplifies routine processes.

Announcement of winners

The results were announced on July 15, 2025. In the Telegram channel of the “Laboratory of Good” Foundation, the names of 12 winning organizations were published. Out of 61 participating NGOs, only 12 — about 19% — became winners. For each, AI not only provided a final score but also generated comments explaining the evaluation. This made the process transparent and understandable for all participants.

“SPORTINK”: the first contest website changing children’s lives

The first website created within the contest was especially symbolic. It was the digital platform for inclusive sports development “SPORTINK”. The organization helps children with various health conditions train alongside peers in basketball, taekwondo, and general fitness. Their mission is to give every child the chance to practice sports at a high level, regardless of physical abilities.

Thanks to the new website, the organization gained a modern tool that reflects values of inclusivity and socialization. Parents can now easily learn about the project’s philosophy, choose a sport, register their child for a trial training session, or purchase a subscription. The website has thus become more than just an online platform — it’s a real growth point: helping “SPORTINK” scale its mission and attract more families to inclusive sports.

We design trust, not just pages

The “Dobrosite 2025” contest demonstrated that modern technologies can serve not only business but also good. Creating websites for NGOs is not just about design and code — it is about enabling organizations to be heard, gain supporters, and strengthen public trust.

For us at DaT Studio, this was more than a project: it was our contribution to the growth of social initiatives that change lives. At the same time, it was an important step for our studio — unique portfolio cases, the chance to showcase our professionalism in complex and impactful projects, and the opportunity to introduce our own technological innovations. We believe that such projects shape not only social value but also trust in our team as a partner capable of delivering world-class solutions.
